Education Reform- Coming to a Globalist Education Center Near You

When you look at statistics regarding American education, you'll see an unaltering decline in SAT and ACT scores achieved since the implementation of Carter's DOE. Those college admission standards have been lowered to the point that high school graduates have to take remedial courses in basic studies in order to be admitted to college level courses. Education has not improved statistically one time since.
I have been a supervisor most of my working life. In the last 15 years I was blessed to work with some of the finest young men I've known, intelligent, innovative. But guess what, they can't hand write a legible word or sentence. They can't spell. They can't do basic math. For example, I would ask a man to get a list of chemicals we had on location and the total quantity we had. He (not just one person- all of them) invariably handed me a list. When I couldn't read it I would ask, "What is this?" and hand the list back to them. They would say, "I don't know." I would say, "Didn't you just write this?" The answer was always "Yes, but I don't know what it says." These weren't isolated incidents, I worked in over 17 states and the pattern was always the same. Men who should never have felt this way were ashamed of themselves. They had done what was required at school, graduated at the top of their classes and were essentially functional illiterates. I taught them how to read write and do basic math in a handful of days, what the school systems under the evil hand of the DOE could not do in 12 years.
Do not let yourself be deceived by any deceptively named bureaucracy.

Well all my teachers were Democrats and they did nothing to stop racism in their classrooms, in fact they encouraged it, your parents excepted (now I know why you defend the DOE so vociferously). Just for fun, google 45 Communist Goals read into the Congressional Record 1963, and I'm serious. It wasn't just about education, and they successfully checked off each goal. If socialism is even mildly acceptable to you, you need to take a deep dive into what is the driving force behind it. I am a witness to the destruction of education, I come from a family of educators, I spent time in classrooms as a substitute teacher and saw kids watching youtube on their ipads instead of doing ridiculously meaningless assignments. I saw kids excusing themselves into the hall to do conflict resolution while the one kid whose parents demanded he apply himself to his education did the work for their "pod" and watched them come in at the end of the class and copy his work. Don't tell me our education system is fine, it is not. Why have they reduced the standards for college admissions if it is so successful. Your parents will be infinitely better without the intrusion of DOE policies into their classrooms.

It's not perfect alright never was. Some of the kids you talk about are just dumb, lazy, don't try or have terrible role models or parents.

Man listen if you think homeschooling is some magic it's not. Really it's kinda sad. If you have your parents teach you that aren't certified teachers in a field it's not really a teacher. A random mom can't teach me algebra.

Also you can't learn a lot of stuff in homeschool that you learn at school. Like social interactions, friends, relationship. Confidence, while you can read about what confidence is no one can make you learn it.

Have you forgotten the distance learning during Covid, when parents got an inside look at what teachers were doing to their kids? The UN education pogrom specified teaching kindergarteners to masturbate. You can't deny it, it's in their own writing and the DOE has required all schools to comply with it. And, it has been exposed as actually happening. Remember when the state of Florida passed legislation specifying that age inappropriate sexual materials be removed from school libraries? The people who fought it hardest posted pictures of empty library shelves where those books were removed, thinking they were making a point about "dangerous censorship," when in fact they showed how much perverse material was in children's libraries.
The county where I live is about 50,000 people, and we have had a string of student suicides. The last one was a 9 year old. When his parents looked through the books he had gotten from school, they were shocked that the one he was reading under his teacher's approval gave explicit instructions on the rationale for and the execution of suicide- exactly the way he killed himself. You still think schools are pure? There are a few good schools and teachers but the majority can't even teach kids to read at grade level. Probably a good thing since school materials promote gender dysphoria and suicide.

Real teachers can educate and inspire every kid, especially the dumb, lazy and descendants of terrible parents. Lazy teachers let those kids fall through the cracks.

You'll need a local citizen. BTW I was a substitute teacher in one of my checkered past jobs. The Department of Education has destroyed the ability of local citizens to truly teach. If we put a classic kids book in front of most elementary school students, they can't read it. When I was a supervisor I had very intelligent young men working with me who could not write legibly enough that they could read what they themselves had written, and spelling? It's criminal what the education system has done to our youth.

I had to pull my nephew out of school who couldn't read but they were pushing him to grade after grade.
I bought a cheap $30 phonics kit with a book and flash cards and in 2 years I got him reading at college level. It's a crime what public schools are doing.

Of course. School choice offers competition. I like homeschooling better as it gets way better results.
