Jimmy Carter should be remembered as the 2nd worst President in U.S. history, but after his presidency, he did a lot of volunteer work for Habitat for Humanity and helped a lot for fundraising for that organization as well as other humanitarian work. Someone can be a nice and kind person, but horrible at their job.

If you get a chance watch Newsmax's documentary, The President's Men. It's about the Secret Service and you get inside stories about what different Presidents (and their families) were like. Carter was not good.
