You cheered when Trump's Supreme Court overturned a 100-year-old gun restriction law in New York and you're appalled to find out that in Texas where kids are more likely to own guns than graduate high school school shootings and other assorted crimes involving guns just happen to be rather commonplace?
It's like whistlelock said, this is the world you wanted.
"Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition" - that's a fairly common bumper sticker round them parts, innit? What do you think it's about, shooting quail on a sunny Sunday afternoon? How about that other popular bumper sticker, "Kill 'em all and let God sort 'em out"? What's that about, an ongoing malaria mosquito extermination campaign? An old ad for DDT?
Sometimes we actually do get what we want in this world, and there ain't nothing that bothers anybody more than getting exactly what they want.
