In my dads day, when someone started getting out of line, the parents smacked the shit out of the kids, they didnt coddle them, that isnt 100% but the odds were better then.
Folks went to jail for doing crimes, there were not many "repeat offenders"
I know a guy, Ricky Plotts. He robbed a bank and got 80 yrs in jail, they let him out in 15
He told the parole brd "Do not let me out of jail, I will do more crime"
he wanted to stay in jail because they gave him his dope, 3 hots n a cot.
a year out of jail, he killed a poor girl named Teresa, MY Gf was pals with her.
she was a welfare worker at Fitzgerald mercy hosp, a real sweetheart.
Plotts wanted more dope from the dr (silverman), guidelines limited how many he can give
Ricky pulled a gun (he is never allowed to own one because hes a felon, got it on black market)
and put it to Teresa's head and killed her.
Dr Silverman hearing the shots pulled his gun and when ricky tried to shoot him (missed) Silverman shot ricky in the arm and he dropped the gun and the ordelys jumped on him..
now ricky is in jail for life or whatever, Had they kept him in jail for the 80 yrs he got for bank robbery, poor Teresa would be alive, had the parole board took ricky at his word that he will commit more crimes, Teresa would be alive.
why do we keep letting criminals out of jail?
I know rickys family very well.he should have never been let out of jail and ricky even said that
