I've avoided photoshopping besides the basics available here because I tend to get addicted and overdo things, so I've always been afraid that once I start I'll spend endless hours just trying to get them right. You have no idea how much time I spend on garbage throwaway memes, just getting the captioning just right and all that.
Also there's a certain charm to primitive photoshopping, as seen in my old dormant-ish stream, Crossover_Templates. This dude that used to be here, Sydney B, his style, I used to call it the "Sidney B school of Photoshop" - he'd just paste on the square image but it was even better that way,,,
