There's no reason workers cannot get together and start their own company under capitalism either, or they can try buying controlling interest of stock in a public traded company.

1. No it's not. You have retired people and other that don't work for various reasons which would be part owner, unless you get rid of them.

2. False co-ops exist and survive under capitalism. They survive because people support them.

They are. If someone doesn’t like the job he does he can take his labor elsewhere and find something better. The best way to do that is to have a free market where entrepreneurs are free to try new businesses.
