The way to get rich is not live beyond your means, begin regular investing early in life, let compound interest work its magic and avoid consumer debt.
All those “big corporations” that you vilify are owned by individual investors either through direct shareholder interest or through mutual funds in IRAs in 401(k)s or pension funds.
