Yeah, I don't see the point in counting asexual as an LGBTQ+ identity, it's just not having any desire for sex. There are sometimes asexual people who are in straight relationships (a cis man and a cis woman) and I don't see any reason to count them as part of LGBTQ+ community, if anything they have more in common with abstinent conservative Christians than anyone LGBTQ+. These asexuals who are in straight relationships have only ever had one time to conceive their child have in their marriage and there are conservatives Christians that are so conservative they only have sex to procreate. I mean, if being straight and not liking sex can be counted as LGBTQ+ can these very strict, sex-hating conservative Christians be counted as LGBTQ+? No in fact the LGBTQ+ community view conservative Christians as the literal enemy and oppresser of the LGBTQ+ community. The LGBTQ+ community are united as sexualities that were frowned upon as "not normal" in society and even oppressed. Were people who don't have sex oppressed in society as the gays were? Were people who don't have sex frowned upon by conservative Christians? No, in fact I seem to recall that strict conservative Christians prefer that people don't like sex for pleasure. Saying asexual is a sexuality is like saying atheism is a religion, off is a tv channel and bald is a hairstyle.
