I'd go along with this if it'd get people to stop putting/asking for 87 for their vehicles that are clearly 89/93.

The other day I had a customer asked if it was alright to get 87 for her 89 grade vehicle. I answered, "It's best to go by what the car's owner manual says." I went on to explain that putting lower grade gas runs the risk of engine knock on top of worse things.

I know higher end cars have that problem. And the information is always good, but unfortunately this is not something I'm extremely knowledgeable about.

They could do it if they gave every American a voucher for $70k toward an electric vehicle and paid for more power plants, lines, and legalized nuclear batteries. They won't do it though

No they wouldn't do that, because that would reduce their power and control over the people.

It's not planned here in Taxifornia, it's already gone down.

I'm fully aware of what Gavin Newsome is doing, to try and take more of our freedoms away. But with him as with the rest it all seems to be being done for more power and control for the politicians over the people's best interest.
