Using a gas stove and gas hot water heater after they've been flooded is not very smart. KABOOM!

Generators for folks stuck atop the roof wondering how many days till FEMA comes to rescue them so they can waste precious gallons of juice to flex their stuff on social media in the interwebz because that's their priority?
No, not really. I never ever have.

And neither have you.

Yes... you're better off driving that EV after it's been in salt water... LMAO

Those of us smart enough not to live in a state that floods with ocean storm surge every hurricane season don't need to worry about driving EV's.

Sure there has never been one that caught on fire there... oh Wait...

LOL

Common sense is not living in a state that floods every hurricane season.

And use bricks instead of particle board and cardboard-strength sheetrock to build houses with,,,

Curious how we never hear them states complaining about "Blue State Socialism" when said Blue States have to pay to rebuild Tornado & Hurricane Alley homes every year.

Many insurance companies are refusing to insure homes in Florida anymore. If someone wants to live in an area that is constantly flooded, make them pay outrageous rates for insurance, if they can get it.

Good. That's how it should be.

They've had problems in New Jersey as well this past year, reminding me of the 80s when towns like "blah blah blah Lakes" and "Riverbottom" and "Hope The Dam Holds This Time" were routinely flooded because the 4 ft levee wasn't high enough.

It's ferkin Jersey, for crying out loud, not some Mississippi Delta mud flats where they figure if they pray hard enough the river won't flood this year like it's supposed to and the tallest buildings are trailers on top of a handful of cinder blocks.
