To those who complain about there being too many "childless cat ladies", let me say this: I imagine many of the families who had to bury their children after a school shooting wished the mothers of the shooters had remained "childless cat ladies", because then their children would still be alive.

No, the mothers of those school shooters probably wished they saw the warning signs, before tragedy. But almost everybody has 20-20 hindsight, and nobody can predict the future.

The mothers of the kids who got killed were probably wishing the shooter was never born, just like all the family members of people who died in the Oklahoma City bombing probably wished Timothy McVeigh was never born, and just like all the family members of people who died in concentration camps during the Holocaust wished Adolf Hitler was never born.
