I've been given an ad for a lego ninjago episode or something and it was literally the whole episode, 22 mins long. Fortunately it was skippable but higher ups at youtube are probably changing that considering their attitude towards money

use your browser and get an ad blocker, ublock origin works well. then just watch YouTube there

My family has Youtube Premium, and it is so nice to not have an ad for every fricking video. It's also nice to listen to music that's not on Spotify while my screen is off.

On tv you can press the info button and usually you will see "stop seeing this ad" press it and the ads are skipped
