How could charges be brought when the special prosecutor was barred from investigating criminal allegations against the president?

“The Attorney General has previously stated that the Special Counsel repeatedly affirmed that he was not saying that, but for the OLC opinion, he would have found the President obstructed justice,” the statement said. “The Special Counsel’s report and his statement today made clear that the office concluded it would not reach a determination – one way or the other – about whether the President committed a crime. There is no conflict between these statements.”



 It’s that the charge in question is obstruction not collusion and no determination was made one way or the other as clearly stated in the above justice department statement. Impeachment is the remedy for a president guilty of treason. Didn’t happen because it was only in democrat screecher accusations.

The OLC memorandum prevented Mueller from investigating or making a prosecutorial judgement on whether to charge Trump as a sitting president - and his report specifically said that it did not exonerate him of criminal obstruction.



"As to jobs number revision it is the highest in history except for 2009 when Obama was president."



While true, that was also during the final days of the Bush recession when unemployment was peaking somewhere over 9% and job data was extremely slow to arrive.  



Also, these numbers aren't assembled by political appointees - the same people are doing the job from administration to administration.

The office producing the numbers is the same, yes - functionaries are hired, serve the people, and resign or retire, but they aren't political appointees who change from administration to administration.

Again, the people issuing these reports are non-political functionaries who retain their positions from administration to administration - unless Trump's Project 2025 comes to fruition anyway.

Those charges weren't bogus. And it wasn't a kangaroo court. His own staff testified that he did the things he was accused of. Paperwork he approved to be submitted for bank loans and tax forms were the evidence.
