You're right. The moderation on some streams is slanted, as are the systems of justice in the non-virtual world. We have to simultaneously work towards and protest for a better system while pragmatically following the boundaries of the (unfair) current system. And so, from time to time, I reread The Princess Bride.

I got a timer for calling DonOld a f*t sl*b, but apparently calling Kamala Harris every derogatory name for a wh*re goes unpunished.

One time when I posted this list, I got a timer when I commented after, adding a couple of adjectives about them in a non-flattering way. Timer. For insulting named convicted rapists of children. Or as it was put, "insulting class or group"

I got a similar timeout for suggesting many Catholic priests were p*dos. Even the church admits that.

I just noticed the third moderator from politics stream is no longer listed as a moderator. Maybe we'll be treated fairly again.

Apparently the second one listed doesn't actually seem to be active in it either.

All the other site mods ditched it. Most aren't active here anymore as well.

The Community Green M ones, that is.

There's an apparent bias, as noted above.

If you click on a stream name, you can see who the moderators are. As a liberal, I stay away from streams like Real_Politics and conservatives.

They ban anyone who isn't one of them anyways.

Conservatives stream actually used to be pretty cool, no problems. My comments were respectful, and I was treated that way as well.

But eventually that changed, and I was banned for who knows what reason. One of the only comments I ever had that got deleted from there was actually deleted last year by a community/site mod who a couple weeks later was discussing it with me but acting like it was one of the stream mods who did it (despite me getting 48 sitewide) and that he had a good talking to with them to not delete comments simply because....

He was unaware that one of his colleagues had previously shown me a log showing that he was the one who had done it. To this day he doesn't know that I know the truth.

The only two other comments I know of they got deleted from there were actually in AGREEMENT with the OP of a meme, one of their bigger players, points-wise. Even after pointing this out to that OP who denied knowledge (although she could check the logs because she was also a mod on that stream) I was was soon banned from the stream.

Not too many followers on those streams. No wonder even the moderators post on politics.

Same with the main Poli stream - Trumpers haven't much to say as others depart. Look at the Front Page. Many memes with few comments, some one or none at all.
And they wonder why the stream is going comatose after getting exactly what they wanted.

This is from Real_Poli, where they blanket banned everyone not part of the 'crew' years ago.
