Oppose EV mandates

That is the plan.

Try living here in Taxifornia.

NEW (stressing new, bc, you know, facts... (not usually a concern on the left)) gas powered cars will be banned from being sold in Taxifornia beginning with the model year 2035.

That's the plan, and there's your proof.

And we're way ahead out here. The socialist policies of our leaders in Sacktown are usually the tip of the spear for the rest of the country.

Hell, we're already trying to dump Harris on the rest of the country. If she wins, why should the rest of the country be any different than Taxifornia?

So, 'banning' the sale of new gas cars in 10 years IS a plan. So, thank you. I appreciate it.

But, tbh, it's not a very good plan. Didn't back during Bush 2 years California also mandate X number of cars on the road need to be EVs too?

And how are they going to enforce the ban? Like what happens if a dealership sells 51% gas cars?

And that's why I thinkk it's a bad plan. How are they going to enforce it? What's the mechanisms that will allow them to cap sales of ICE cars?

Those enacting the bans were never exactly famous for their ability to think things through. Remember “We have to pass the bill so we can find out what’s in it.”

That sounds like the type of 'horse before the cart' approach our socialist leaders in ol' Sac would take. I am sorry to admit that since it doesn't affect me (we own 3, yes THREE planet destroying ICE vehicles...) I can't say for sure. smdh...

51% would be 51% over what will be allowed by law. Honestly, I don't see how it's constitutional.
