When they abolish the IRS, then that will be a fantastic start. Until then it is a great start, which is better than a good start if they abolished some of the other depts and agencies.

Abolishing the dept of Education is a great start because it returns control to the states, counties and school districts. The schools won't be forced to turn students into future Democrats.

How is it "going after education"? It is releasing a grip the federal dept of Education had on all school districts across the nation. It is not "going after" anything. There is no action being taken other than shutting down a federal department. The educational system in the country remains intact. Schools existed long before Carter gave us this department and they will continue to go on without. The Dept of Education was superfluous, unnecessary and a waste of taxpayers dollars.

Why would you want to go after the police departments? There is no federal Department of the Police. We have the FBI and they have become a joke. They are the Democrat Party's hit squad.

Police departments enforce local laws determined by the will of the people.

You do realize that cities that have decreased the number of police officers are now overridden with crime. Is that what you want? Ironically it is the cities with the most extreme gun control laws. So the law abiding citizens cannot defend themselves.

What you should be demanding is not fewer cops but fewer laws. We have just way too many laws. I will always be for taking power away from the government. Reducing the size of the local police departments has nothing to do with taking away power from the government but reducing the number of laws does.
