Capitalism vs socialism

True story

None of the self proclaimed "socialists" live their lives in a socialist manner.

They just bad mouth capitalism while engaging in capitalism.

Supposedly one cannot take it upon themselves to refuse participation in capitalism because that is the societal structure in America.

Many will brag about their capitalist success (car, house, money, job) in the same breath in which they condemn the evils of capitalism.

Does not sound like they are "true believers".

At the end of the day capitalism is just buying something whether it's a sports car or a pack bubblegum. The difference is that the buyer has the purchasing power in capitalism and in socialism it's the government that has the power.

I understand you.

However, none of them brag about taking 90% of their earnings and distributing it to bring equity to society.

They make no effort at living a socialist lifestyle.

Well, except for the idlers with their hands out.

They always say the same thing - "we have a society and I'm participating in it, so what".

Yes, you have a CAPITALIST society. 🙄
