Except they aren't. Go to literally any country in the world where the language has pronouns, and people will tell you what pronouns apply to them if you don't know, or get it wrong.

You do realize that "gendered language" isn't the same as "preferred pronouns", right? That's actually evidence to the opposite of your point lol
if you're talking about gendered language, no, they don't. German has masculine and feminine and neutral. And in some languages, certain words which are gender specific in English are gender neutral.

Okay? Still not going to call people by pronouns that don't match reality.
How do you know what reality is? All you know is what you assume when you look at somebody. If you look at somebody and they look Hispanic to you, but they're actually not, are you just going to call them Hispanic because you think they look that way?

Ethnicity and sex are both u changeable things. Ethnicity isn't always clear to the human eye, while gender is obvious most of the time.
