When John Gotti was convicted back in the 90s, they actually had a march in my neighborhood at the time (Arthur Avenue/Belmont, the setting of A Bronx Tale) in support of him. I didn't bother, but later that day they had a block party, although I didn't live on the block, I went and hung out with friends there. They said the march was a joke, small bunch of old men with signs. But they were handing out baseball caps, and a few leftover at the block party. I got that too late to get one, but somebody knew was wearing one, tan/light brown with "No justice for John" in red with an image of handcuffs above.
I wonder if they're worth anything now,,,
