More Individualized Specialization, Less Taxes. Win Win

In Texas, a homeschool is a private school. Basically zero government oversight whatsoever. If a kid wants to be a doctor, then they can study that exclusively without wasting their time in middle school and high school learning all of that pointless nonsense. If a kid wants to be a mechanic, more of the same. As far as math is concerned, anything you learn past 5th grade is never used in the real world.

I was a little hermit in public school, I was a growing hermit in my homeschooling years, and I am a big hermit now. It's really not that bad!

In a public school setting kids only “socialize” with other kids their own age and do not know how to interact with older people or with those much younger. Homeschoolers socialize with people of all ages.
