If it was sedition then everyone still alive that protested a politician starting with the 1960s needs to be arrested. Sedition is mainly about the individuals in power instead of government and its institutions as a whole.

If anyone is guilty it's the people that protested in front of the houses of SCOTUS after Roe v Wade was overturned.

Don't have to be a Republican to be a political prisoner? The Proud Boys & Oath Keepers are separate political movements. Donald Trump himself is barely a Republican. The Republican leadership hates him. Binary doesn't apply here or anywhere else.
