Yes, overturning the federal power to dictate abortion policy did leave it to the states, where it belonged. Read the US Constitution.

So according to the constitution, "murder" as the right calls it, should be left up to the states?

Yes . . . hence each state makes up its own mind and its own general rules regarding capital punishment . . . and always has done so.

Probably when the Left's leadership finally installs formal end of life -- meaning old and useless citizens in their eyes -- Death Panels and 'final solution' mechanism, that too will probably become an individual state-by-state thing.

The left is desperately trying to change the focus on issues to abortion... LOL

Trump didn't fall for their Gotcha...

Trump is playing chess while the political Left's leadership is playing checkers.

Ya we'll see how long that abortion "states rights" rhetoric lasts.

This whole thing is clearly a slow march to a nationwide ban. Installing right wing judges to overturn Roe was just the first step. Unfortunately for the right, it's yet another widely unpopular policy for them but hey...

As far as "Death Panels", if I ever end up find myself getting cancer or in some other f*cked up painful existence I hope ending myself will be something at least on the table. Forcing someone to remain alive seems cruel in that circumstance.

If only the political Left could grasp the irony of that reply. Whenever government sanctioned death panels are enacted -- see Canada -- they PUSH for death and try to convince people that this is the best solution . . . for their policies that make it harder and harder to live as an old person, for their policies that make it harder and harder -- and even impossible -- for an old and therefore 'useless' member of society to receive treatments. So forth and so on.

Not sure exactly what you're talking about as far as "death panels" up north but I would think life would be somewhat easier for older people there since you can't go broke paying for healthcare.

Here it's like..... you work your ass off your whole life, then you retire, then whatever you managed to save is lost in medical expenses.

Biden is capping some prescription costs and helping forgive student loan debt... which apparently does help at least some elderly people.

And I quote: "Not sure exactly what you're talking about as far as "death panels" up north . . . " Which says it all.

Sorry I'm not Canadian and I don't really follow their politics and whatnot much.

I did travel there with family once though and a medical emergency happened so we went to a hospital there for help. They kicked us out immediately for not being Canadian.

Not being a leftist politician, Trump actually comprehends both the Constitution and the Court's decision and so he knows that it was going to be up to each state anyway.

The general -- ginned up -- hysteria of the Left's leadership to incite their all emoting followers over this issue was only ever a strawman set of assertions. As soon as intelligent people perused the ruling it was OBVIOUS that the final decision in the matter was automatically up to each separate state within the Union.

Right.
That’s was the goal, skippy.

Abortion is not any longer a federal issue.
