yea ina perfect world everyone should be nice to each other all the time... too bad humans still have so much ape in us - we are cultish, tribal, and we make fun of others. Laughing and making fun of others is part of the human condition.. being offended at everything doesn't make you better, it just makes you offended. People need to get over their self and chuckle at their own inadequacies and flaws.

We make fun of everyone. We make fun of ourselves... we laugh and enjoy humor. Lacking humor leads to a miserable life. If a person can not laugh at their self , they have already lost. Think about that.

Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Depression, and Gender Dysphoria (note: there is a difference between being Transgender and having Gender Dysphoria. There is a high correlation between the two, but they are different things) are real disabilities. While some disabilities are definitely more debilitating than others, a disability is still a disability and making fun of that is just as deplorable.

Everyone has anxiety, anyone that tries to describe that as a disablity is a joke. The idea that anxiety should be considered a disability can only be from a liberal world that can't handle normal life pressure like paying bills which everyone does. Depression is another one of those slippery slope deals, manic depression that needs meds is a disablitiy , someone that just is angry at their life is not a disability - and transgender is not a disability, not at all, a dude that wears a dress can still work any job, has no physical limitations , and is not limited by anything other than their self. That is like saying a thug with a mile long rap sheet is disabled because he can't stop himself from committing crimes.

I said Generalized Anxiety disorder, not anxiety, was a disability. And as someone who suffers from it, it’s more than just worrying about bills and such, it’s basically shuts down your whole thought process and can do nothing but sit there as it feels like the world crumbles around you. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, it’s horrible.

And also like I said, Gender Dysphoria is not the same thing as being Transgender. And of course being trans isn’t a mental disorder like I’ve heard so many people around here say. Gender Dysphoria, on the other hand, is a disorder that causes one to feel distress due to not aligning with their assigned gender at birth. And while it doesn’t limit what job one can have, that doesn’t mean it’s not a disability.

Finally, your example of comparing a trans person to a criminal is not only demeaning, but is also inherently flawed. If someone physically can’t stop themselves from committing crimes, independent of any other factors other than a compulsive need to break the law, then yes, I say that is a disorder, and one that should be treated immediately, wouldn’t you agree?

when you say that everyone has a disability, "oh the criminal that can't help himself from committing crimes", "oh the transgendered guy that needs to wear women's clothing" - you take away from people that have real disablities, like the blind, people with severe downs syndrome, for example. Its the same as saying everything is "racist", when everything is deemed racist, than real racism gets ignored because the word has been watered down to meaning nothing. You use "disabled" way to liberally.
