There is no excuse for disabling comments.
Only gutless cowards do that, moderators shouldn't allow it.

The only funny thing about their memes is that most of them make an assertion that is an obvious lie and then at the bottom of their meme ask a strawman-style question based on that lie.

So you make the mistake of opening their meme to reply to their strawman argument and question, and only then discover that they disabled comments.

Eh. They've been doing it long enough that I know their names and just skip it. If I have a hunch that it's one of their alts, I just click the name and check recent comments or submission dates of other memes. They get no views from me.

Once in a rare blue-moon I open the meme anyway in hopes that the memer suffered a brain fart and forgot to disable comments.
