Yes but that's not the same thing. Raising taxes brings more money for services, whole printing trillions just causes inflation. It's simple

It's funny that nothing changes for the citizens but if you live in areas that have huge cash flows, the luxury homes and apartments, along with giant shopping malls in a matter of a square block seems to be where the moneys at. I don't understand how it happened but watching a humble city grow into a wasteland of shops, restaurants, and empty mega mansion houses just seems a little odd. Makes you wonder what the state government is up to.

If printing money could replace taxation, there would never have been taxes.

at this scale of printing money, the US gov't doesn't need taxes. They've printing almost the same amount of tax revenue collected each year. It's one of the primary reasons the gov't started the FedNow digital currency last year. They can instantly digitally "create" money without having to physically print it anymore and then can set the digital currency to expire, as if it never existed.
