I use refurbished 11.6'' Delta Pro tablets with keyboards that I buy off of eBay for around $80 - 85. They have their limits, you got to be careful not to overcharge lest you toast the battery, but they work pretty fine for me here.

I was in a rural area, so covid was only a mild concern at the time and wasn’t disrupting my daily life
