Not to mention due process. The judge is clearly biased and because of that issued a summary judgment. How does that afford Trump due process? (5th and/or 14th amendment, I believe...)
So I was listening to a news report (yes, just listening can be done over the interwebs! Libs don't do it because for them it's like reading a book without pictures! 🤣 ) and a federal prosecutor was being interviewed about this case in NY. He said that the ruling was more severe than it would have been otherwise due to Trump (and I'm paraphrasing here, but pretty close...) thumbing his nose at the federal court system.
After hearing that I'm thinking to myself, is that legal? Can the judge arbitrarily fine a defendant more money, and if so, on what charge? What's the legal basis for the court thinking the defendant behaved badly, so he's really gonna stick it to them?
The dollar amounts in this case are also all fcuked up. The court ruled that Mar-a-lago is worth something like $18 million, while the land it's on is absolutely worth more than that. And have you seen this judge? He looks like some libtard that hasn't bathed in weeks. Is it possible he just hates Trump and can't get past that? I hope so, because that would make reversing his ruling on appeal pretty simple.
And YES, if at all possible skip the blue biased NY court system. They're all socialists there anyway.
