over 15,000 people are killed each year due to a drunk driver, but the Leftists don't protest and cry about passing sensible "car control" laws and "background checks" on drivers. The Left clearly are not interested in public safety, they are 100% bent on restricting gun ownership at all. It's already illegal to commit murder and even use a firearm while committing any crime. There's plenty of crimes and evidence to prosecute every murderer or "mass shooter".
