Just 3 weeks ago Democrats were saying that the border is secure.

If the border is secure, why do they need to pass a border security bill?

So Larry, you're completely ignoring the fact that the Dems killed the House's 2023 bill that addressed the border crisis exacerbated by Biden, right?

Cherry picking facts to support a broader, unprovable point is absolutely not a good strategy for you.

What Democrat said what, when? Biden has been asking for legislative action to help secure the border since his first day in office. Three weeks ago was about Jan. 17. No Democrat said anything close to "the border is secure," according to extensive on-line searches. In fact, ranking Democrats had just finished negotiating the Bi-Partisan Border Security Law, at or about that time.

LOL... very funny Larry... Biden didn't need it when he stopped border wall construction... when he sold off building materials to finish the wall... total BS that he needs money for Ukraine and Israel to close the border Larry...

"Biden has been asking for legislative action to help secure the border since his first day in office."

That's laughable on its face, Larry. If we had anything close to an honest media, you'd know that. Biden voided all or most of Trump's successful border policies. For example, Executive Order 13, signed on day 1 of the Brandon administration, stopped construction of the wall. (I used that example because I thought you'd like it. 😂)

Here is where I can help you out. Demented Joe doesn't need any new legislation. He already has all the authority he needs to control the border based on the Immigration Nationality Act, section 212(f).

From the bill:

"Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem appropriate."

So Larry, and I know this will be hard for you to accept so I feel for you here... but your President is lying to you when he says he can't do anything without the pork bill.

Also, the media is lying to you, when they say... well, almost all they say. Come on Larry, do some digging on your own. It will be a real eye opener for you. I want you to know the truth!

Either Democrats said what you say they said, when you say they said it, or you lied. Which one is it?

Sure Larry... for starters...

The Biden administration doubled down Thursday on Veep Kamala Harris’ claim that the US border with Mexico is “secure” despite a surge of illegal crossings and overwhelmed migrant processing centers.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre backed up Harris — who was skewered for insisting earlier this week that “the border is secure” despite a broken immigration system that “needs to be fixed” — at a press briefing.

It was GOP House Speaker Mike Johnson who offered funding for Ukraine and Israel in exchange for a bill chock full of Republican priorities, but making him renege on that deal is just icing on the cake.

It was GOP House Speaker who told Biden he had the power to close the border if he wanted to... without a bill from him... OOPS

Did he though? Seems like the House GOP has spent the last thirteen months pissing into the wind with their mouths open because Trump thinks it's funny to watch them demean themselves for his entertainment.

LMAO... so you can't refute it... thanks

The answer to that is more checkers than 4D chess - because one way or the other it completely invalidates the only campaign issue the GOP really has at this point.

The bill is 100% Republican priorities that demands nothing in the way of Democratic immigration priorities such as pathways to citizenship.

The GOP has spent nearly a decade making sensationalistic claims about the southern border posing an existential threat to the United States - either they do the job they were elected to do and vote to fix the problem now, or refuse to and admit the threat was just nonsense they made up to get bigots to vote for them.

"If Biden let him have 2020"???

That's about the most blatant admission that the election was stolen that I've seen from the left, ever.

The US Democratic Party is only American. Not only is it not Australian as well, it isn't in Russia either.

So when the House was controlled by Demontards and they still couldn't push Biden's agenda through, you also critized him for not keeping his campaign promises, right apples?

(that's a rhetorical question, of course... because no Dem has ever held any of their leaders to even 1/10th of 1% of whatever standard they hold Trump to.)
