Well yes it was but it's kinda a religious conversation now so it's best I got confirmation. Does it no say that we are.the body of christ? One is like the feet and another like the hands? Are we not filled with the spirit of the lord.to do his will? Wh enough we are total my surrendered to him, wh at are.we but his hands? Do we not do his will? That is a misapplication of that message. We are Christ’s body, yes. And we are to live according to His will by the spirit. We are not to imagine what that will is in terms of engagement with the world’s systems. We are to grow in His word to lead others to Him. Period. But salvation is of God by the Spirit through faith in the Son. That is the limit of bringing “this world closer to Heaven”. By personal interaction. This world is going to get worse and worse. The church will be raptured, the Tribulation will commence, bring Israel back to faith (1/3 of them anyway) and after 7 years, we will return with Him to reign in the 1,000 year millennial kingdom of Christ.

Nothing we do now can expand the kingdom (which doesn’t exist yet) or bring the world into line. We are to surely do our jobs as if unto Him, blessing even secular employers by our hard work. Be those jobs in any field.

But our “mission” is never to target the world and make it more Godly.

The kingdom's not yet physical but we can expand its ideas. The kingdom is in our midst. For the kingdom has already come. Do you think when they preached.to the 3000 on the day of Pentecost that afterwards they went up to every single person. I think not. The kingdom can be shown through more than just personal connections and that includes the worlds.systems. We are.called to protect othwrs. We are called to serve.others. Creating systems so that we can do that better, that is vital nowadays

No, the kingdom is not in our midst. It was in the midst of Israel when Christ said that. He meant “Your King and Kingdom are before you”. They rejected Him. The Kingdom is postponed until Christ returns with the Church following the Tribulation and Israel’s national repentance.

We are not called to protect and serve “others”. You cannot read the Gospels as prescriptions to the Church. The church was not around then.

Ok. Apparently you’ve been woefully misinformed if you imagine biblical truth leaves out Christ in any way. I hope you will prayerfully read your Bible and the Holy Spirit will give you wisdom and understanding on this. But everything you’ve said or advocated sounds more like Rushdoony heresy than Christianity.

Regardless if you truly have put your faith in Christ, you’re saved and will understand fully at the rapture at the very least.

"I am the vine and you the branches". Israel is the church, we are "no longer jew or gentile" but one in christ jesus. When he talks to Israel he speaks to us as well. "My kingdom is not of this world". The kingdom is not a physical thing that will come. Yes heaven will come to earth and revelation will be fulfilled, so in that sense yes something will physically come but "the kingdom" is an idea, or rather it is better described as a Spirit. Wherever the Lords spirit is, so there is the kingdom as well. The Lords spirit has been poured out upon the earth and so upon the earth is the kingdom
