In my opinion, I think the mentally ill are constantly being swept under the rug and get treated poorly by society. They deserve more attention. I'm not talking about politicians here, I'm just talking about normal mentally ill people.

I have adhd, and it’s really sick to me how people think of mental illnesses of being ‘like a baby’ or ‘being cared for’ or ‘quirky’. For me, i am in a normal school, with no extra help, and sure it helps for my mum to give me exercises to control my thoughts, but i am not aesthetic or needing attention 24/7.
