Sooooooo how was this a surprise? I was in Colorado when they started the legal weed hysteria. Every politician and talking head on the news said it would be great! They said it would help relieve overcrowding in the jails (I don't live in jail, so this was meaningless). They promised the revenue from weed taxes would fund public schools (it didn't, still had to pay for bus rides, school fees went up, and you still had to buy your kid's supplies and the rest of the classroom supplies too). They said the roads would be repaired (hahahahaha, have you seen a road in CO?). And they promised it was safer than alcohol (a blatant misrepresentation since about 60% of the population drinks while only 6% uses cannabis... plus a sky-high pothead rear ended me in December... so no, I do not accept that mind-altering substance #1 is more safe than mind-altering substance #2 folks.). So Oregonians had no excuse to believe the drug dealer lies.

That State is The Wild West. What your meme mentions is just one indicator of the Marxist takeover.

It has been taken over by outsiders. More people have moved to that State in the past 30 years,

Same thing up here in Canada. The west (mainly Vancouver) legalized fentanyl, heroine, basically almost every, if not all drugs. And now the west is filled with drugged up zombies. People are falling asleep while standing up, now some new drug called Horse Tranc (A mix of horse tranquilizer and fentanyl) is spreading around. Some people overdose on the street while people pass by. I do not understand how people think this will reduce drug use.

I think the idea is that those people who do drugs will die quickly so all you will have left are non drug users...
