There’s a place down the road (136 miles) from my neck of the woods that makes, I shit thee not, deep fried bacon. Not slices, a whole 2 lb slab of unsliced bacon. Now, that’s good eating!

Oh man I bet you can smell that for miles, I used to have drive past the tootsieroll factory on Cicero ave on my way to work, it was my favorite part of the day.

lol Argo shut down in the 80s I think, and since I moved I don't go anywhere near Ashland cold storage, im glad about that, nothing but nightmares from that area, lots of murders over there on 43rd. Well there are lots of murders by me now too.. but at least I don't smell the stale blood anymore.

We moved! Bought 5 acres about 120 miles west of the city. I lost my sense of smell in 2008 after sinus surgery. 🙁 "Traded" that land in for 10 acres in a "free" state a few years ago. Hubby wanted more (he grew up on a 600+ acre farm in WI), but I wanted something 'manageable'... Guess who won? 😉
