No. What the Constitution did was give those that wanted to get rid of slavery an 'out'. Granted it wasn't the best idea in world (4/5 ownership clause) but did give people the option.

The founding fathers are dead. Who assures your rights now? That's THE founding principle, rights that come from man can be given or taken by men. Rights given by God cannot be taken by men. Men can try to infringe on God given rights, but the rights remain, and these rights are not exclusive only to the United States, but to all mankind. These rights are not arbitrary.
The Russian revolution concept of nihilism that there is nothing to approve of in established social order is self defeating. All evil becomes fair game, so if the dictator decides to kill 50 million citizens at random, no crime has been committed. That works well if you aren't among the 50 million who die and you get to live in fear of arbitrary judgment.
