Still one wonders WHERE exactly one hears all this stuff from one's leadership since apparently it is everywhere and yet people living in the real world never encounter it . . . only leftists in their fevered dreams -- or nightmares about what they THINK is happening inside churches or what they THINK is being said whenever a GOP politician opens his or her mouth . . . even though had any of them said any of that then it would be national news and the leftist loyal Mainstream Media would go insane.

People always ask me if the priests really molested us kids and I always have to be embarrassed when I am forced tell the them "Not me, I was an ugly kid ".

Ha! Discovering a pedophile Catholic Priest is like discovering an honest leftist politician. It almost never happens. When it does happen however -- or when the Christianity-hating leftists can get away with SAYING that it happened -- then it makes national news along with the intimation that all priests are secretly that way.

I don't actually have a dog in this hunt, though; because while I 'became' both a Christian and Catholic very late in life, I did so in order to keep my religious wife company while she went and prayed. So I am an outside observer even from within. I respect sincere priests of any faith because the good ones really do dedicate their lives to the service of others.

The only sus activity I ever observed was one of the seminarians giving himself a "sock puppet show" when my group entered his cell unannounced during our tour of the seminary guided by his roomie.

They were older teens while the group was 10 - 11 year olds.

It was years later before the light went off in my head, "aha!".

Had I known the future creepy priest thing was going to pay out cash I definitely would have worn my uniform pants a lil too tight, left another button on my cardigan undone, wore my altar boy robe a lil shorter than the others...but no such luck for me. The only thing a priest ever stuck in my mouth was the communion host. At least you got a sip of wine to wash it down 😁.

I sometimes watch the priest and deacon gulping down the excess -- blessed -- communal wine after delivering the Eucharist and wonder how often they walk around afterwards slightly buzzed.

Once when I was a boy (still am male, just older, not that transformer stuff) I was obviously suffering from the night before and after the priest handed me the chalice with the "the blood of christ" incantation, he leaned forward and whispered, "everything in moderation". 😬
