Let's take at least three-quarters of your statement as irrefutable fact. How does this negate the Holy Bible of Christians by way of either the Old or New Testaments? In other words, nothing inside the bible states that the average Jew of today has to be a practicing religion-dominated Jew in order to belong and govern the land area today called Israel.

It would perhaps be nice, perhaps, but it's not REQUIRED. Hell, the average Christian of today is hardly what members of even a hundred years ago -- Catholic, Protestant, or borderline Cult -- would have called truly practicing. So, as for these 'iffy' Jews in regards to their personal faith, it doesn't matter since technically they are the inheritors and masters of what is today called Israel.

Now for the practical stuff: this Jewish dominated or controlled nation is the nearest thing to a practicing and stable Western moddled republic with democratic tendencies in the Middle East and currently the government is firm allies of the United States and of Western nations in general. Plus it is very technologically advanced and industriously productive and EFFICIENT and has turned what used to be a shit-site land area for nearly the entirety of the last two thousands years into what is a garden spot for the Middle East. Stable, productive, and peaceful . . . as long as their vicious and hate-filled neighbors cease trying to murder them off.

Plus they are not going away without a fight that would have to be great and gory enough to essentially eradicate Israelis from the Earth . . . and since they are supposedly nuclear armed, that would be an iffy proposition even after U.S. leftists deliberately finish letting the state-sponsor-of-terrorism inside the Middle-East, Iran, finish getting nuclear armed themselves.

Ultimately it comes down to this - "God KNOWS who His people are."

And to add to what you wrote about 'practicing religion-dominated'. It's not even about that. It's about repairing the relationship between God and man. It's part of the promise and deal made with Abraham. Israel was meant to be a place for God and His people to be able to fix the relationship. When Jesus Christ came He extended that offer to even the absolute vile and worse of us.

God promised Abraham, "I will give to you, and to your descendants after you, the land of your sojourning, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession."
