Scumbag car dealing congressman Mike Kelly from PA was named by GOP senator Ron Johnson as being complicit in the fake elector scheme. Shockingly, Kelly denied everything & tried to blame it on a staffer. Sure, Mike. When is the hammer going to drop on him? This can't be ignored.

This “conviction” is relatively nothing for the crimes committed.

Yep. Practically scot-free. I wonder if some other jurisdiction or entity can go after them, too, & give them what they deserve.

While effectively letting them slide may be troubling, their use as witnesses against the core of the whole plot will be more useful than them fighting aganst the prosecution by insisting on the innocence of themselves and the whole bunch.

This is true.
But, alas, whileunfair, that's the carrot that greases plea deals. Otherwise no incentive to do anything other than stick with the defense and testify only to help the guilty party.

It is when it's one of a list of guilty that's growing by the day which provides evidence of the crime as well as significant witnesses willing to testify.
