Please don't be. Where did I say that Palestinian lives don't matter? They matter as much as Israeli lives. At least they do if we're talking about civilians.

I don't recall exchanging comments with you before, so I'll let you know that I often post important info (well, important to me...) with my memes thru the tags, and for this one I tagged it with #all lives matter.

The problem with memes, imo, is that you have to limit what you make obvious about them in order to get people to pay attention. I didn't want to dilute the message that Israeli lives matter by making any other statement than that. But doing so in no way means I believe that other lives matter any less.

All lives matter. Black lives matter. Asian lives matter. Latin lives matter. Blue lives matter. Babies' lives matter. Yes, even white lives matter. The only thing that shouldn't matter in this conversation is the color of a person's skin or their religious beliefs.

Killing innocents is wrong, period. And when Israel is done doing whatever they're going to do (and are already doing) they'll be wrong for killing the civilians they will inevitably kill. Nobody should logically be able to condemn Hamas for killing innocent civilians and then claim that Israel somehow has a right to do it. Innocent is innocent.

Now, if you're a soldier, that's another story. In the case of Gaza, it will be difficult if not impossible for Israel to kill the enemy without collateral damage. Civilians will die. Ideally not, but war is hell which is why it should always be a last resort. I think at this point that we, as Americans should just hope that Demented Joe doesn't bumble or gaffe us into being involved in a shooting war or worse, a war where our soldiers' boots are on the ground.

You are a good guy as well, TOBBITW, but I had to figure you out as you are not as easy to read as Elvis. I understood you after a little thought (and seeing your memes) and I am sure Elvis does now as well.
