Palestinians do not get to use ancient history to justify child torture, rape and murder. If that is how this is justified, then Israel would be justified to nuke Gaza. I am not sure even islamic extremists want that.

Well actually, God did promise the Israelites a land where they could live and made them His chosen people. He didn't promise Islam anything as long as they continue their centuries long killing spree.

and that was a promise not only not kept, but THE reason Islam came into being, as Mohammad figured trying to convince people to convert to a religion whose adherents had been vacated and dispersed from the 'Promised Land' ages prior probably wouldn't really work out that well.

His contention was with the people of Mecca. His jihad against the world came about because of the pagans in Mecca. It was after that that he turned his eyes on "the people of the Book" (Christians and Jews) and he mostly focused on the Jews.

Just because you want to think the Jews vacated their land does not mean they vacated their land. A lot did and the reason they did is for safety reasons. Muslims wanted them dead. Just like they do right now.
