Thank you for not calling oil "fossil fuels." The oil industry may have saved the whales, but they have surely screwed us humans claiming it's a scarce commodity. Oil is a plentiful mineral!!

You nail it. It's abundant, just needs constantly improving technology to get it efficiently, which isn't a problem unless government gets in the way. Coal is the same thing, and after the acid rain scam (years ago I saw 2 articles in different scientific journals in the same month, one had a satellite image of the areas impacted by man made acid rain, the other a satellite image of the areas impacted by the ash plume from Mt. St. Helens was identical) we developed clean coal technology that only emits- you guessed it water vapor and CO2. I know of one coal discovery in northern Canada where the coal seam is 400 feet thick, that alone is enough to cleanly power the world for over 100 years.
Regarding acid rain- volcanic acids break down rock to eventually create topsoils. Nature has got this.

Or is that propaganda from elitists because they don't want wind farms off Martha's Vinyard?

With today's media, including scientific journals, who can know with 100% certainty about anything that is published? A number of studies have shown that offshore windfarms have had a negative impact on whales, possibly caused by subsonic and other range harmonics from the sounds turbines generate. That noise interferes with how whales locate and acquire food, communicate, etc. Take it with a grain of sea salt.
Offshore oil platforms are well documented to become enhanced habitat for sea life (another tweak in the eye for living room environmentalists). Knowing that, I was initially skeptical about the whale story.

I have no data. Just a long life experience. Those that believe themselves our betters, lie cheat and steal inorder to enrich themselves.

On the other hand we have rabid environmentalists that will lie, cheat and steal to advance their leftist agenda. Some of them have said that 1000000 species go extinct every day due to deforestation.

Leftists everywhere!

Again... Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. 🤷🏼

Thank god we got rid of those horrible wind turbines, they were really starting to hurt the whales.

Considering how often fact checkers have turned out to be wrong about items they fact checked false or true.... when the fact checkers say there isn't a correlation... there is probably a correlation.

Well, I can see why you'd want to not believe any facts because feeling right is so much easier than being right.
