And to top it off with a cherry, the beloved government wants those hard working men and women to work till their 67 soon to be proposed 70 to get their full retirement package... Working in the heat and cold, rain or snow, with no ac and little breaks, little vaccinations, no job security, and so much more. Yet you can look like a under age supermodel and shake your ass on stage and make 10 year salary in one performance compared to the factory worker, or coal miner, makes a perfect amount of logic.

'vaccinations'? Don't you mean vacations? If so yes, everyone gets very little vacation time. In fact more often than not, people get no vacation time.

The "npc crowd" may be hypocritical when they leave the working man in the lurch despite talking a fine game of supporting the working man but you are just as hypocritical when you criticize the liberal elite for not caring about the working man but when the working man stands up for himself to the billionaire elite, you arrogantly act like the working man's opinion doesn't matter and call them "lazy socialists" and "economically illiterate" and oppose the working man having enough to live on after an honest day's work. You are just as bad as the liberal elite, in fact I'd probably say you're even worse.

Those so called lazy working man socialist are the reason why social security was created. Because when the working man died at work or in war, their widowed wife needed something to rely on. But our government forgets about this and it's sad that the hard working elderly generation is left living on a set wage that keeps them in poverty because the government didn't keep up with the changing times, and a generation who faught to keep a country together believed in the security their government provided.

It's true that Scandinavian countries are not socialist, they are in fact capitalist economies but they also have very strong social welfare programs and labor union protections and those labor union protections have the working man be paid a livable wage. Then you also know the thing that separates them from us is higher taxes... and smaller populations... they're not the world's police like we are... they don't use the huge amount of money we do for our military... there are numerous reasons why their welfare programs are not sustainable here... so to think raising wages is a cure-all is very ignorant...

True but at least their high taxes are put to good use unlike California which taxes the shit out of everyone and does nothing to even clean up used heroin needles and human feces off the streets. America and Europe are very different places but I do think there might some European policies that might work in America. It's a common misconception that Europe is all about government spending but in reality many of Europe's government programs are actually privatized to an extent and they spend a lot less on their own government programs than America does on its own. Foe example: many European Healthcare systems are what are called multi-payer Healthcare systems which have both government funded Health insurance AND private insurers and providers. The Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, The Netherlands, etc. all have such systems and are some of the best healthcare systems in the world. Many on the left have a mentality of privatization = bad but they don't realize many of the very systems they advocate for are privatized to an extent and are very well-functioning systems.

Their healthcare systems only guarantee that you won't be bankrupt if you need treatment. it doesn't guarantee that you get the treatment you need... only what they deem you need... on top of which, you're also not guaranteed to get that treatment in a timely manner... wait lines can be long... they do also provide private solutions, but there you're paying a lot more for going outside the national program... on the other hand if you have good health insurance in the US, you will have higher treatment deductibles which are actually lower compared to national healthcare plans when you take into account the much higher annual taxes you pay for that. You also get treatment a lot quicker... The really big drawback with national healthcare systems, the government decides who is worthy...
