Step 2. Gavin appoints her to Feinstein's seat.
Step 3. Joe takes Gavin as new running mate.
Step 4. Biden/Newsom win by 498M "votes".
Step 5. 25th Amendment is invoked.
Step 6. Something about Hell 'n a handbasket.

25th amendment or trip and fall down the stairs comes before the election. Partial term President still gets two more full terms.

It isn’t. The Democrats always, and I mean always, accuse Republicans of doing precisely what it is that they themselves do.
And when you call them out on it, the screech at you with “whataboutism”.
Hypocrites, one and all.

White Guilt is a bright shinning star.

it isnt necessarily about preference (and if it was, that would indeed be weird), it is about the fact that the majority of senators and house reps are older, white, straight men. The point of democracy is to elect somebody that represents you. right now, women and especially black people are not well represented. Of course, the US doesnt have much of a democracy anymore

The original Pledge of Allegiance:

and to the REPUBLIC
for which it stands,

with liberty and justice for all.”

The US never had a democracy.
Always been a republic.

There is a difference in the two.

Democrats want a democracy.

Republicans want to stay a republic.

Oh yeah, and plenty of black men and women, young people, and homosexuals voted for all those "older straight white men".

Please describe what "special representation" (aka discrimination) a black congressman, male or female, provided the black community.
