I actually had an idea for this, the roombas would be set up in squads, each squad would have a "leader" the leaders would find humans and send a command to the other roombas in its squad to attack
So your saying; roombas would be in units of X size, the leader(witch sounds more like a scout) finds enemy targets and comands the remaining roombas to do its dirty work? why woulden't the capitain want a piece of the bloodshed? is it stupid?
...
what you need is a chain of comand you have the roombas in the unit know who the leader is if the current leader is offline. why limit yourself to one unit when you can have mutiple platoons where you can cover a larger area and in turn more bodies!
The squad leader would also attack, the reason for the leaders is so the roombas could move in formation. And yes if the leader were to go offline another roomba could take its place
What you do is realease them and then play "don't stop me now" and right as it says "having a good time, having good time" have them all start firing/chasing the guy.
claymores are never overkill, if anything they need more claymores

you can tell what kind of a person someone is
a) sad normal person who removes bombs
b) an anarcest when they add to many bombs
What I tell my Alexa to do when there is a intruder:
1. Turn off all lights and play ominous music
2. Say "So you have chosen death" and stop music
3.Lock all doors in the house
4. Play "Doom OST 22: The Only Thing They Fear Is You"
5. Release the Roombas
6. Release the hounds
7. Call police after the intruder is very traumatized
