John Wilkes Booth voted for the Know-Nothing party, which was primarily an anti-immigrant party.

Since when were the Left anti-immigrant?

John Wilkes Booth was a Democrat operative, fighting for the rights of racist slave owners and traitors back when they held a real insurrection.

He never supported the Democratic Party in any way. He was a known Third Party supporter.

No, he wasn't. And you KNOW that.

Democrats have done a 180 since the Civil War. Read a history book!

Booth had nothing to do with the party.
Also, it never did a 180. It stood for state's rights and thus believed slavery should be decided on a state, not federal, level. The party cleaved over the issue during the election of 1860, having two separat candidates. As always, the division was between North and South, not parties.

What were the Blue States in 1860 are now the Red States, and vice versa.

Which means what?
The DNC as whole started supporting Civil Rights, and the RNC didn't, staying Conservative in the South as they always had been. The parties didn't switch, just one got ditched.
