I have filters too, but at one point they blocked one of the memes that I made. I don't know why, it was just a Sonic meme lol.

That's just proof that your school's CENSORSHIP regimes, are poorly focused, and include more than they ought to. Perhaps they catch anything labeled as NSFW, without regard to the actual or legal definitions of pornography.

I'm a little concerned that the youth, currently being brought up in an environment of unconstitutional censorship - have become habituated to their prisons.

Is National Geographic "pornography"?

the thing is, andrew isn't posting anything related to nat geo. if he is, it's most likely some half-assed excuse that it's educational and not an attempt to post porn.
do you really think that schools should just allow minors to see bare ass? that's anther form of porn, and even if you don't think so, it still encourages a prn addiction. the fact andrew seems to be so aroused by it indicates as such. i know that my school allows sex ed to be unblocked, because it is a common thing to learn about after elementary.
there's a difference between freedom of speech/content and allowing people to post highly problematic things. either way, it's still an infringement of the tos.

So then going to the beach could cause a "prn addiction", too. As for Nat Geo - it's more about colonial prerogatives and orientalism, than anything truly educational in an ethnographic or anthropological sense.

I don't know how 'aroused' Andrew is, by anything he's posted... It doesn't do too much for me.

ToS are clear. Andrew is well aware of rules, and doesn't even push the envelope, really. I made a meme with a picture a kitten, composed of little pixelated pictures of boobs... It took a few weeks before anyone noticed.

I don't think the DSM IV has recognized porn addiction as a legit illness. The fact is, people are going to be aroused by all kinds of things. A century or two ago - ankles were considered risque and sexy. In some parts of the muslim world burkas and hijabs are the norm.

If you don't want to see NSFW stuff, keep your filters on.

As for Sex Ed - that's become pretty controversial, these days. The UN and WHO are pushing a dubious "Gender Theory" on younger and younger children. Along with that comes discussion of all sorts of things that seem extremely disturbing and age inappropriate. Parents trying to read books from the School library to the School Boards, tend to get muted rather quickly.

It's all in the eyes of the beholder. If you don't like it, look away.

going to peach probably wouldn't--unless you're perverted enough, in which case, you probably already have one. andrew is posting things where it's very clear that it is intending to arouse. if he wasn't already, why else would he be posting it? he clearly enjoys it a lot.
lots of people are turned on by asses. while ankles may have been considered as such a while ago, it doesn't mean it is today. if you get turned on by ankles, that's you. i think it is safe to say not many people find ankles to be their biggest kink. ankles also aren't a private part.
while porn addiction may not be an actual illness, it can cause depression after enough consumption.
just because possibly one person is going to be aroused by any part of someone's body doesn't mean they should cover everything up. people can have lots of varying kinks. however, asses are an incredibly common one. in all my time of browsing imgflip, i have come across prn. (especially when i used to be a ppolice member--a stream dedicated to reporting uncensored porn.) and lots of that content involved asses.
i do want to see nsfw stuff--just not the sexual aspect of it. like i told andrew, i want to be able to see memes with swears. i think imgflip should have a better tagging/filtering system, but we can only hope.
yes, but that's an entirely different topic i am not an expert on. however, i do know that lots of kids and teens get access early, so i'd say it's important to teach them at least a little bit about sex. i was taught about consent in 6th grade (even though i already knew about it because of the internet). i'd say it's important for teenagers to be taught about sex or else they may be more vulnerable. (and just for the record, i'm referring to early teens/preteens. i do not think that teaching people under the age of 11 or 12 is good. if a child gets early unrestricted internet access and learns about such stuff, that's on the people providing them that access.
thank you for not ignoring everything i typed out.

I understand your position... But "porn" has both legal and vernacular definitions. When it comes to butts, those aren't porn. If you can see the naughty bits - then you can make the argument a little better.

If it's not for you, leave the NSFW in off position. I'm not sure how that can distinguish between NSFW language, imagery, and "adult situations"... Except perhaps by having separate boxes to check off.

I think that the site should be a safe place for everyone, but also that morals codes shouldn't be enforced, except at the individual level. I think that the "Porn Police" are too concerned with the behavior of others - that doesn't directly affect them.

Look up "Barratry and Champerty" - both offenses at common law, the former even as a statutory matter.

okay, i see your point
although--andrew has posted such things where you can clearly see the ass, and sometimes you can even see the nipples through the thin clothing
I personally still think that it;s disgusting and porn, but I can't filter it out unfortunately.

also, regarding nat geo: instructional stuff is fine, but i don't really see a use for it on a meme site.
