Oh . . . oh . . . I know the answer! The 'health' scam itself and masking up ploy is nothing more than a control feature to gradually condition all citizens to blindly obey illogical and transparently phony government directives, because a populace trained and conditioned to be a blindly OBEDIENT populace is a leftist ideological wet-dream.
Now the reason that most COVIDiots are willing to fall for this obvious 'health' scam again is that most of them are leftists and they are already that part of the population indoctrinated to BELIEVE whatever their leadership -- be they cynical or lunatic politicians, party elites, or bought and paid for 'scientists' --TELL them to believe without any pesky and disturbing investment of independent thought.
