.... economics decisions are never not made by politicians. They're running a country. Of course they have say over the economy. You won't find a government that ISN'T like that, ever!

The workers own the means of production, unless you mean the government being the people, which is the idea.

History proves that no matter what form socialism takes it fails. There is no example of a prospering socialist economy. Even Venezuela with all its oil reserves couldn't make it work.
