Yes. The youth of the 1960s and early 1970s were genuinely committed to peace because it was literally their young asses on the line. It made a difference. But now . . . war is a meaningless concept to today's youth.

You are not wrong, I talked with a man that admitted he joined the Army and went to Ranger school because he loved planning call of duty. In his case he matured and thrived, but real alpha males picked him up and molded him into a man.

It happens. Often a stint in the military is the saving of a youngster. Only maybe not so much anymore with today's WOKE military. The Left can and will f**k up anything.

Perhaps the U.S. Military will be forced to recruit from the prisons like Russia had to do. 700,000 draft age Russian men have fled conscription since it was announced. Some call them cowards. No chance, they draft 17 and 18 year olds first, prisoners are way down the list, they will be forced to draft women first, to keep up the there is no such thing as gender scams.

Funny thing, though, nobody sees leftists roaring to totally fund countries in which kids are dying in various countries undergoing warfare. For instance, the Palestinians routinely launch rockets into Israel and leftists either pretend that it's not happening or they CHEER the Palestinians.
