How Trump almost ruined the WEF - Trump pushed USA first and it made the country successful. At the same time he did not neglect any of our allies. This disproved that 'country first' does not mean complete isolation or neglecting our allies. It just meant that the USA had to take of its own issues before helping anyone else. By fixing our own issues first it let us be in a stronger position to help our allies.

Other countries saw this and thought, "Hey, if it works for the USA then maybe it'll work for us." Sure enough other countries started to try this and were beginning to see the same results; better economies and stronger ties with allies. . .then Covid happened. . .
