Not at all! It does not matter your past; Jesus died for us all, and He earnestly desires for you to come to Him and become a member of His kingdom. I understand it's a weird transition probably, but the Bible says that heaven rejoices over even just one sinner who repents, and that God is faithful and just to forgive our sins when we confess them to Him. It does not matter the sin; just turn to God and receive His salvation, and You are washed clean of all of it.

Why is homosexuality a sin? I forgot to ask

Because it was made in confusion. People going for their same gender are disgusting.
We can clearly see what gender God want us to love.

To put it simply, it was not a part of God's original design for marriage. Marriage was intended by God to be a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman. After the fall, people began to depart from this design, which resulted in an abundance of sexual immorality. As homosexuality differs from this design, it is sin. There is obviously a lot of division around the topic, so I won't go further than this unless you want to learn more. But the Bible is pretty clear on the issue regardless.

Everyone starts out as not Christian so going from Satanist,atheist, agnostic, etc. to Christ is just another day ending in the letter y to the joyous celebration of one less for Satan. God created man and woman in the beginning and set the boundaries for acceptable there. Everything was brought by the author of lies and confusion,Satan. He did this because he hates mankind and wants to destroy as many as possible. Each new issue that is anti God is one more way to bring another to hell. Any who sin.. and that is all of us should never be hated. God loved us all enough to provide the way back to Him. But He cannot look upon sin. It's the sin that separates us.

well, the ones i know about are evangelicals and the church of christ. evangelicals are pretty different and it's hard to nail them down, but the church of christ believes that instruments shouldn't be used in worship

also, stay away from mega churches, they stray further from God every day
